AstroCoil
We Didn't Forget the Past
Our Coils

At AstroCoil, we feature 4 distinct coils.

Coil Features:

  • All coils put out 50,000+ volts
  • Made of aluminum for better heat dissipation
  • Contains an internal 1.4 ohm resistor
  • You no longer need to tarnish your firewall with the sight of an ugly ballast resistor.
  • Looks great on rat rods, customs, trucks, and hi tech cars.
  • Polish, paint, or leave it alone...it is yours for the customizing.
  • This coil is designed for use with stock points types, along with aftermarket point and breakerless electronic ignition systems that use a 12 volt external coil.
  • Not legal for sale or use in California on any pollution controlled motor vehicles.
  • Proudly made in the USA.
  • All coils are patent pending.

Please remember, these are NOT just covers that you put over your existing coil, this is a complete coil.

  • We have been receiving questions about how the coils are mounted.  For those of you who are unsure how the coil is installed, here is a picture depicting how to attach the coil to any bracket that you can come up with or to the firewall of your car.

The pressed-in standoffs, as well as all the hardware shown, come with the coil.  All that is needed is to install the coil is to drill two holes in the firewall or your bracket and put the studs through the holes.
